Certification & Institutional Requirements

How certified English–Turkish translations are prepared, what certification includes, and how receiving institutions determine their own requirements.

What does a certified English–Turkish translation include?
A certified translation is a complete, accurate rendering of your source document into the target language, prepared by a qualified translator and accompanied by a formal certification. It mirrors the layout and content of the original so it is ready for submission. Certification typically includes a signed Statement of Accuracy, the translator’s credentials, and our bureau stamp. The receiving institution sets its own requirements and determines acceptance.
What is a signed Statement of Accuracy?
A Statement of Accuracy is a formal declaration signed by the translator confirming that the translation is a true and accurate rendering of the source document to the best of their professional ability. It carries the translator’s name, credentials, signature, and the date. Many UK institutions request this as part of a certified submission, and we issue it as standard with certified translations.
What translator credentials are provided with a certified translation?
Each translated page is digitally stamped and signed with the translator's professional credentials, certifying the accuracy of the translation. On request, we can also provide a separate certification page accompanied by the translator's professional credentials and signed Statement of Accuracy. If a receiving institution requires specific qualification details or certification wording, please share those requirements when requesting your quote so we can prepare the documentation accordingly.
Can you guarantee that my translation will be accepted by the Home Office, a court, a university, or another institution?
We prepare and certify translations to meet common submission standards, but each receiving institution — whether the Home Office, UKVI, a court, a university, a consulate, or another body — sets its own requirements and determines whether a translation meets them. We recommend confirming any specific requirements with the body you are submitting to, and we will tailor the certification accordingly where possible.
Do I need a certified Turkish translation for the UK Home Office?
If your supporting documents are in Turkish, the UK Home Office normally requires an accurate English translation for an application or case. The translation should usually include a signed certification confirming that it is a true and accurate translation, the translator’s name and credentials, the date, and contact details. Requirements can vary by application and may change, so check the current guidance for your application and send us any specific wording or format requirements so we can prepare the certification accordingly.
Which documents can you translate and certify for the Home Office, immigration, courts, universities, and other authorities?
We translate and certify a wide range of official documents, including birth, marriage, divorce, and death certificates; academic diplomas and transcripts; passports and national ID cards; police and ACRO records; bank statements and financial records; legal and court documents; and medical and insurance records. If you are unsure whether your document is covered, send it with your quote request and we will confirm.
What happens if a receiving institution has additional requirements?
If an institution asks for something beyond our standard certification — for example a particular format, additional wording, or a specific credential detail — let us know and we will advise whether we can accommodate it. Where possible we adjust the certification to meet the stated requirement. Ultimately the receiving institution determines its own requirements, so confirming them in advance helps avoid delays.

Quotes, Pricing & Turnaround

How to request a quote, what affects the price, accepted source formats, turnaround, urgent options, and how the completed translation is delivered.

How do I request a translation quote?
Send clear scans or photographs of your documents through the quote form, or contact G Translation by phone or email. Include the language pair, document type, number of pages, intended use, and any deadline so the requirements can be assessed accurately.
What information do you need to calculate the price?
Fees for single-page certified translations start at £40, with reduced per-page rates for multi-page documents where applicable. Pricing depends on the document type, language pair, amount of text, formatting requirements, certification needs and requested turnaround. A review of the documents is needed before an accurate, fixed quote can be provided. See our translation prices page for the full overview.
Can I send a scan or photograph of my document?
Yes. Clear scans and well-lit photographs can usually be used for an initial assessment. The complete document should be visible, including stamps, handwritten notes, signatures, and additional pages.
How long does a translation take?
Turnaround depends on the document length, complexity, formatting, certification requirements, and current workload. The estimated delivery time will be explained with the quote rather than assumed in advance.
Do you offer urgent translation services?
Urgent requests can be assessed individually. Contact G Translation with the documents and your deadline so availability and any additional requirements can be confirmed before work begins.
How will I receive the completed translation?
The delivery method depends on the project requirements and the receiving institution. The quote will explain the available delivery options, including any certification, signing, stamping, or formatting arrangements.

Confidentiality & Specialist Services

How sensitive documents are handled, and the specialist legal, medical, and immigration translation services we provide for individuals, families, solicitors, and businesses.

How do you handle sensitive and confidential documents?
Sensitive legal, medical, and personal documents are handled with discretion and care throughout the translation process. Files are used solely to produce the requested translation and are not shared beyond what is necessary to complete the work. If your matter requires specific handling, raise it when requesting a quote and we will discuss the arrangements.
Can you translate legal contracts, witness statements, and immigration evidence?
Yes. We translate contracts, powers of attorney, judgments, witness statements, affidavits, and immigration and asylum evidence for individuals, families, and UK solicitors. These are prepared with attention to legal terminology and formatting so they are ready for submission or use in proceedings. See our Legal & Medical Translation page for more detail.
Do you translate medical records and reports?
Yes. We translate medical reports, discharge summaries, clinical records, and insurance documents for legal cases, healthcare matters, and Home Office medical claims. Medical content is rendered with precise terminology. See our Legal & Medical Translation page for more detail.
Can you work from solicitor instructions?
Yes. We regularly work to solicitor instructions, preparing certified translations for court bundles, evidence, and client files. Share the instruction, deadline, and any formatting or certification requirements with your quote request and we will confirm scope and turnaround.
Do you serve businesses and organisations as well as individuals?
Yes. We work with individuals and families, immigration and asylum applicants, UK solicitors and law firms, businesses, and organisations across the UK and Turkey. Whatever your context, send your document and requirements and we will confirm how we can help.
